One of my favorite shows during Bridal Market was the fab show by The Wedding Guys. It was so good to see bridal designers that I did not know that much about because they usually are designing gowns because they saw a hole in the bridal market. So their dresses have something very personal to say. There was quite a bit of drama, including the eco-designs and blue wedding dress by Lindee Daniel, long headdress and back adornment by Beth Ellis, the blush pink ballroom gown by Katerina Bocci, the short dresses by Chaviano, the lovely selection of beautiful strapless dresses by CB Couture, the ruffles galore at Karen Hendrix and the old hollywood glamour of Valena.

As I expected, there was high drama at Ines Di Santo. Drop dead gorgeous dresses with heavy beading and lace and bling. There were dramatic layers of satin and lace with impeccable detailing in beautiful designs. If you have the gams, there were a few short dress including the beaded short dress below. For me, that was it for me. When that dress walked down the runway, I thought to myself that it would make an incredible wedding dress. Love it. See more from Ines Di Santo here.

There was a little something different going on at Anne Bowen. There was a short wedding dress with a hood. Very, very different look for the modern bride. Do you think that might take off? I also loved the embellished one shoulder dresses. My favorite dress was definitely the third down from the top. It was stunning. Get more information about the Anne Bowen collection here.

It was very cool to sit inside the Alvin Ailey Theatre to view the Rivini Fall 2011 fashion show. The stage was setup so that everyone had a front row view of the dresses. I had a few favorites, pictures 1, 2 and 4. The dresses were very intricate and had beautiful detailing. There was something a little surprising about each dress. Visit Rivini for locations and contact information.
